I'm a big fan of the old school skinny tires you found on the Power Wagons and Jeeps. Not the smooth-roundish-treaded-ones, but the ones with big square deep lugs.

Or gumbo's. Or buckshots.

Power Kings have the classic look, but are only available in a couple sizes.

Well they are on finally. Ended up using beads instead of lead to balance. I am pretty impressed with the beads so far. Not a lick of vibration at all. We went to balance them and the first one had a few weights on when he suggested them. He didnt even charge me for them. The tires are not as noisy as i would of thought either. The howl started around 70 and i stay under that just for slightly better fuel economy. One of my tires had a broken belt and the way it was i just thought it was a ball joint going bad causing the tire to wear unevenly. But we checked the ball joints and they are decent. I am still going to do them though this spring when i pull the front axle off to do a refresh to it. My steering components are pretty rough. I knew that already though.
