Welcome Texas mike. Good luck on a good looking project truck.
You're never too old to work on a square. I'm gonna be 81 in 2
Weeks and I still piss around with them. Just finished restoring
My dash cluster 4 days ago. Want to strip the clear coat off my
Mag wheels next, then polish them. Good winter project. See
what I mean. Go for it.

Hi Jerry. The picture came through and that's a really nice looking truck. Kinda wish mine was a short bed but I'm glad to have what I do.
Congrats on the upcoming B/D. I just finished my 75th trip around the sun on Thanksgiving Day. I'm also looking forward to pissing around with mine if I can ever get it home. It's at a mechanics shop getting some things done that I didn't want to mess with. It's a good trusted shop but they only seem to work on mine when they get slack, which isn't very often. Then it's on to the body shop and I expect it will be the same, or even worse, there. Too bad as I'm anxious to drive it as often as I can.
I bet it's cold up there where you are. I hope we don't get too many of those cold fronts down here this winter.

Mike thanks for the compliment. I hope you get yours back soon ,
Then over to the body shop and back. You have to be very anxious to get going on it. It's gonna be sweet when you get it done. Send some pics.

You could always play the "old" card on them. Tell them you need it done soon "cause I don't know how long I'm gonna last". Worked once for me
