Hi all,
My wife recently bought me a project truck. A 1979 C30 Cab & Chassis.
From the research I've done so far, this truck started its life in Pontiac, MI. It also started its life with the 350 engine.
Fast forward 40 years and now it sits in my driveway (Central Oklahoma) and has a 454 engine. The previous owner put the rebuilt engine in the truck about 15,000 miles ago.
So far I have replaced the entire brake system (except the drums and rotors, I just had those turned) and all of the wheel bearings and u-joints. I've replaced all of the fluids.
I happened to find this site after doing much of the work over the past month. I guess I should've looked a bit harder, huh?
Anyway, historically, I'm a Mopar guy. But I've really enjoyed breathing some new life into this awesome piece of machinery. With your help and the resources on this page, I'm sure she'll be back on the road and turning heads in no time.
