New member here from South Florida, Ft. Lauderdale area, my name is Joey. I grew up on square body trucks, they always brought me back to my roots. This site is so awesome, so much info and good people that like to help.

I’ve got a ‘91 GMC Suburban R2500 with a 5.3/4L80E swap. Rust free California truck, just needs a little paint love at some point, but the interior is nice and it’s a solid truck. Glad to be here and hope to learn and contribute much!

That's almost exactly like my old '90 square Burb. GMC R2500, ours had 350/TH400/4.10. Woulda loved an overdrive but it would have cost as much as the rest of the Burb!
Ours was the same color combo, with blue velour interior; roof had been repainted white but the front fenders and hood had the gm 90s peel in progress. After it sat awhile without running, rust started to set in....

Nice Suburban. I had an 88 suburban, a 96 (big block 2500), and now Ralph, shown at left. Good simple trucks. Welcome from Morrison Colorado.

Thank you! I love working and tinkering on it, it’s been fun. Originally was a big block truck, has 4.10 rear end full float with posi. Added electric fans, Bluetooth retro sound radio, upgraded the headlights with the LMC housings and relay kit, really a nice ride.

My first ride was a ‘99 2500 with a 454 and currently have an ‘08 2500 as well, suburbans for life.
