Hey everybody! Been lurking on the forum for a while and decided to take the plunge! lol
Lots of good info here and I look forward to contributing. I plan to document my build of my 1984 GMC C2500 Crew Cab Long Bed 454 SM465. The plan is to strip the interior, install sound deadening, completely redo or replace everything that needs it (carpet, headliner, new upholstery, etc.). Then go through the engine, tranny, brakes, axles, etc., basically anything that needs attention. After I'm happy with the powertrain and interior, I hope to install a GV Overdrive. Then last but not least, body and paint. It's looking like work will be commencing the last few days of this month, with progress being made fairly quickly through June. Budget probably won't allow body and paint this summer, but drivetrain and interior will get done.
