Hello all,
New to Chevy Trucks - bought a 1990 K3500 Flatbed in Wyoming a year ago and finally had it shipped to Virginia.
Some specs I think I figured out on it (not entirely sure):
10 1/2" Rear Dif
9 1/4 Front Dif
Borg Warner 1370 XFER (not sure)

Other stuff:
454 Automatic
Flatbed with 5th wheel attachment
Some sort of air bag suspension with hoses to the bed

Truck is not running now - rats/mice did me in, had to ship it as in-op
Just bought the service manuals for it, plan on many weekends of wrenching on it.
Will not be my DD - I just need it to work and haul some heavy/bulky things, as I am having a hard time fitting a pallet of drywall in my miata.

By the way, what classifies as a square body - is 1990 to new? I see 70's and 80's trucks in here!

Had to look up OBS also (Old Body Style). A few more pics:
I think the bench seat is original and in great condition.

I think this body style is what GM called the GMT-400, follow-on to the 73-87 square look. GM kept the 73-87 body style on Blazers/Jimmys, Suburbans, and the crew cab 3/4 & one tons thru 1991. Regardless, your truck looks like it will be a good workhorse for your pallet of drywall.

Nice looking truck.
Yeah, definitely not a squarebody, but still an awesome classic Chevy truck. Your about 2 years off, but close. Those are called the GMT400 series, or OBS. Ran from 88 to 98 (92 to 2000 in yukon/tahoe/suburban). NBS being the 98-2008 I believe.
Squarebody are 73-87 (73-91 blazer/Jimmy/suburban).

No worries though, still welcome here.
Alot mechanically was the same.

Welcome from New Mexico.

I have quite a few 90s chevys. Have 2 that look just like yours.
