New member in SoCal

New to the forum, i recently purchased a 1980 1/2 ton longbed 350 BIG10 model. Its beautiful brown with white sides and has been tastefully restored/modified to look like a survivor truck with a touch of style. i grew up riding in my grandfathers sierra, 8 lug, longbed, 454, camper special and have been wanting my own ever since. Love the memories and love these trucks. I look forward to being a part of the community and apologize now for newbie questions. Cheers

Original and stock 350
Mild Flowmaster exhaust
Repaint (to match original colors)
Bumper painting a more matte silver
Interior redone, dash, carpet, everything not original fabric but is a Chevy fabric and tastefully tied in)
Front: 2” drop spindles , 4” lowering springs
Rear: 6” flip kit
15” staggered rally wheels, painted brown with beauty rings
Hidden stereo system with just an equalizer below the dash as a hint and removable. Original cassette player still there. Original service schedule manual, paperwork and cassette paperwork
It was restored to keep the survivor truck look and feel and it rides like a dream
Feeling very happy to have found this and plan to be buried with it
