Hello and thank you GD and all the members for the Big Welcome!

Yes, I know it is a skip & a hop, but I just got into a Big Trouble last January.

Please guys Do Not get old!!!

I try to do my own work as to the best of my abilities and as my body lets me. I have 4, 3 level cervicle spine surgeries and 1, 4 level lumbar spine surgery.

Well back in October I dropped the oil to change it on my son's 1999 2 door Tahoe.
I do not know if the phone, old age, my neighbor, old age, the wife, or trying to keep an eye on my helper The Duke our GS dog, did i mention Old Age , but I forgot to fill it back up with oil.
She doesn't get driven much, as my son is out at LSU right now, but she must have been driven about 100 plus miles on errands here and there by my wife. Plus maybe another 100 by my son when he was here for winter break.

Now we are in the process on getting her overhauled.
Piston 1 & 2 totally wore out the bearings. Cyl 3-8 everything was as like new.
Luckily it never locked up, it just started knocking really bad when my son was in town.
I guess he has a heavier foot than Mama on the gas pedal...

Not only that I am partial to the K's. I was forced to put my project an Old Ranch Work Horse that was put to pasture on the back burner right now.

That '76 does look really clean. In MHO, everything west of San Antonio all the way to California, and south of Dallas, Albuquerque, Las Vegas, NV are all pretty clean rust free trucks.

On another note. I hope everyone here and all of your loved ones are safe with all this extreme weather we are having nationwide.
