Dad was stationed down in Rota during the early 70s. We spent 4 years there, had a wonderful time. The people were wonderful.

Last august i was in Cadiz on holidays. I visited the navy base with a friend who works there. I wanted to see the trucks lol.

Dad and I caught a lot of fish on that long pier on the base. I wonder if it's still there...
Dad was mainly a bass fisherman. We caught a lot of blues there. Dad made the mistake of grabbing the lower jaw of one, like a bass to remove the hook.
The blue bit down on his thumb with its mouth full of teeth.
Dads thumb looked like a sprinkler, shooting blood everywhere.
Spain was great.
