I'm new to the forum. I'm from Oklahoma and own a '79 K20 Silverado. I'm the 3rd owner of the truck. It is all original and needs some restoration but runs and drives great. I still have the 16.5 inch wheels/caps but decided to run some 16 inch wheels right now and store the original wheels since 16.5 inch tires seem hard to come by. It is a 400/t400 truck. I own and have fixed up several hotrods and muscle cars over the years and am looking forward to fixing up the truck. I doubt that I touch the engine or transmission right now since it still runs/drives great. It doesn't matter if it's 100 degrees or -10, the truck always starts and runs. I'll probably do some body work, re-paint the truck the original colors and restore the interior and just enjoy the truck. It won't be a show truck as it gets driven and worked.
