Hello, I am a new member but have been searching and reading post about different subjects for several years. I currently have a project truck I bought about a year and a half ago and I am finally ready to get started with it. I have already have a donor vehicle 1993 Suburban 2WD 454/4L80 that I’m planning on swapping into my project truck.
My project truck is a 1980 Chevrolet K30 Custom Deluxe dually (basic-no A/C, no extra’s at all) Ex-Fire/Rescue truck.
350 engine (w/ busted head and piston, dropped valve)
400 Transmission
NP205 (figure 8)
Dana 60
Corporate 14 FF
4.56 gears
131.5” WB (or close)
35,000 miles
No rust on body or frame and in overall good shape considering it worked on a farm it’s last 15 years.
Lots of questions to come later on the swap. Mostly ecm/harness questions
