Ex full time mechanic of 31 years. Bought a 79 K20 Camper Special about 6 months ago. 5.7 TH 400. Crate motor with a few modest mods. Been dumping big $ into it. Seems to fall apart on a daily basis. I found my new hobby and passion! It runs great but just looks OKish. My kind of truck is dependable but still has character! I have never had a vehicle that turns so many heads. Even with some typical rust it still turns heads.
