Thank you very much, it's so hot it certainly feels like it'll melt your tires to the asphalt if you stop too long at a light.That picture was the day I had it towed home from the storage place it had sat at for the last 12 years and the rear tires were 20 plus years old , the fronts actually aired up and made it easier to get it on the tow truck. I spent the money and put the correct 16.5 tires on it vs going with 1980's 16 inch wheels on it, I'm trying to keep it as original as possible.

My 78 has the stainless trim with the black in it. His 77 trim to me doesnt look to have yellow...

Nope. Just yellow inset for '77 and black for other years. Except for the '75 Gentleman Jim, it got gold or yellow... I don't remember which.

Granted a gogle image search is no authority but photos are easy to find. I guess its possible that those arent original trims persay but

There was this one kid one time with this one '77 that thrashed an entire set of yellow trimz AND THEN he pushed photo evidence of the atrocities he bestowed upon that poor truck, forcing us all to see.
I hope he was shamed to seek like minds elsewhere because screw that guy. Dowutchalike but damn man
