Hey you!

I'm in NC as well, have owned a couple burbs, have a parts burb, and I daily drive my 89!

What part are you from??
Im in Salisbury.

If you have a 87-91, between me and @1987 GMC Jimmy
We can probably get down to the nitty gritty of any issues it has (sorry buddy I volunteered your help)

Thanks for the reply, I was actually just trying to reply to your ad, but I guess I don't have enough posts yet to do that. I'm looking for a floor section with the 3rd row seat brackets if the one you are parting out has that, let me know.
I've been to Salisbury many times, got some family there still so I go every now and then. I'm about an hour and a half west of there now.
trying to sort out the gauges on mine, temp gauge and oil pressure don't work, which kinda makes me nervous driving around like that. I got new sending units, but the wiring doesn't seem to match up...

I believe my parts truck is 3rd row seat. The only rotten part is where the floor meets the fender wells. (typical burb) it's an 87.

You're welcome to come and cutout what you need from its floor for a little $

What year truck you working with?

Oh and, you need 50 posts to participate in the classifieds.

If it's fuel injected, you have a temp sender for the instrument panel, which is 1 wire, drivers side head, between the primaries on the exhaust.

Then you have a 2 wire unit on top of the intake, that'd for the ECM.

Oil pressure is on the back of the intake. Behind the distributor. It'll be.... 4 wire I think. Or maybe it was 3?

Thanks for the reply, I've got an 87 so that would work well. I can't seem to send a PM either, so I guess I better keep posting to get my count up. I am definitely interested though. I'm not sure when I'd be in Salisbury again but we could work something out.
Engine wise I've got the 6.2 diesel, which seems to be different on everything related to that. :(

Well come from Hickory!
Thanks! I was looking at that brush guard you had for sale too...let me know if you change your mind later on and want to sell it. If I could make it fit an 87 bumper I'd be interested...

I sent you a PM. See if you can see that and reply to it.

As far as the diesel, that's a bit beyond me unfortunately.

Maybe 1987 GMC Jimmy knows more about those.

There's also @Blue Ox

He's got a good bit of experience with the 6.2
