New here. Been working on these trucks for 20+ years. Currently have an '89 V3500 crew cab, '90 GMC V1500 Suburban and an '88 K5 Blazer. Also have a '79 CJ5, '81 CJ8, '90 YJ and a '94 Toyota pickup I mess with.

Currently in the middle of an engine replacement on the '90 Suburban.

Welcome. I dabble in jeeps as well. My wife has an 84 cj7 that is currently needing an engine. Had a 258 that ate a piston. Considering all swaps, but id like to build another 258 for it with a bigger cam an 4.0 head. Anyway, welcome from southern Missouri!

Had to save the Toyota, Dad bought it new went from him,to me,to my brother,back to him. Transmission needed rebuilding at 200k he was going to get rid of it and my wife said she wanted it. Had it rebuilt fixed a bunch of other crap and found out the engine was shot. Its inline for a new engine. I've owned a couple myself but not a Toyota guy, just by default.

I had an 89 Toy an beat the crap out it, I sold it with 276K on it. Besides maintenance all it needed was a MAF sensor, front output seal on t/case and mill the exhaust manifolds. Really good truck.
