Hi, welcome. Sounds like my 87C10. It needed almost everything do be dependable and somewhat safe to drive. I rebuilt the engine then went from front to rear changing brakes, brake lines, wheel bearings, u-joints...you get it I know. The thing is that was four years ago and I drive it every day to two jobs. It’s not pretty but people still like it. It’s never let me down. I’d drive it anywhere, only thing is it’s a heat only stripper. I have a 84 K10 with ac that I drive on the weekends. You won’t regret doing things right.
