Hey y’all. 1990 blazer w/ 350 hoping to be 5.3 within 3-4 mo. Been trying to get my ducks in a row before starting And found this site with a lot of recent Info which is hard to come across. I’ve never been a user on a forum before so if I screw up or put it in the wrong place I’m sorry in advance. I’ve got an 03 5.3 and 4l60e to use. I’ve got some technical knowledge but mostly about sbc and rebuilt the 350 in my truck a few yr ago but I’m 22 so haven’t been around the block that much. My dads doing a frame off 66 c10 to 6.0 so I’m the Ls guinea pig. Im a fireman and in nursing school full time so my replies may be late from time to time. Also they call me biggun cause I’m 6’7 350. One of them cornfed mountain boys from western nc.

The body on it is pretty good. Rockers fully intact and inner fenders with minimal rust. There’s about a quarter size spot of rust bubbling above the passenger side fender well. The window was left open and the floor pans are rusted pretty good but other that it’s good. Oh and I can’t get the window in the tailgate to roll down. I read you can chuck the end of the cable in a drill and roll it down that way but the end is rusted off so gotta get a new one before I can screw around on that. Here’s a few pics
