Hello everyone. My nemesis is a 79 C30 Crewcab Dually. It has it's original 454 and turbo 400 and still runs. I'm in the middle of replacing the rubber fuel lines, and doing a 6"- 8" drop. So far so good. I'm doing it by myself, but every once in a while my wife comes out and checks on me. No shade, no cement, no problem, Ha !
At the moment I have all of the bolts loose or out, so it may take a while because the weather is getting warm. An hour or two in the morning and the same in the evening before dark. I'm at a standstill at the moment because there just ain't no money in the bank. A few more days and I should be able to start again.
If anyone knows where I can get the cab mounts for my truck, I sure would appreciate it. I've been looking for 2 weeks and nothing matches. Sometimes I just get sick of the WWW!
Nice to be here.✌️

Welcome, Payson used to be my escape from the valley in summer. Hell’s Gate was my fav get away.
Likewise couldn't find cab mounts. Ended up using hockey pucks

Welcome from Wisco! I’m also doing fuel lines (and tanks and sending units!) on a 454 dually. Mine’s a 2wd short cab though. And NOT the nice one in my profile pic, just its ugly twin!

If you didn't know already...AZ is pretty much the mecca of squarebodies. Lots of them here, lots of shops, suppliers, etc. And of course the home of Dino's Git Down where you can see 5000 trucks in one place.

Is the Star Bar still there?
It sure is. But it's name is
"The SPUR" if you're talking about that one. Ha, it's pretty much within walking distance for almost everyone in town. It partially burnt down around 10 years back, but they rebuilt and it's pretty close to lookin' like it always has.
Now if you remember
"Pete's Place" as a restaurant & bar, that's now a flippin' topless dancers bar. Same name, different owners. Sad to see it there.
