Hello,
I've been a fan of Square's since I was young. My first truck was a 1983 GMC 1500 short bed, 350, 4x4 with lift and 38" Swamper's. Parents made me sell the truck when I went to college. A few years ago I picked up a one owner, 1988 GMC G2500 3+3 long bed with a 6.2 diesel and 78,000 original miles. Truck had the owners manual and original registration in the glove box. Truck has rust in all the normal spots. I plan to remove cab, fix all rust, mechanicals and make it as nice as possible. I decided to join the forum to get some assistance from others on sourcing new parts and such from places other then the "big" companies.
Side note: I read that this forum is for 1973-1987 Squares but they but the 3+3 until some time in the 90's I believe.
