Hello all, I have been posting on the 67-72chevytrucks.com forum for about a year and figure the more the marrier so I just signed up on this one, found you because of the brilliant 4-speed New Process NV833 overdrive manual transmission thread you all got
so a bit about my truck effectionally called "Rusty" by my kids
1974 GMC 1500
short bed Wideside in GMC talk, Fleetside in Chevy talk
1/2 ton
2x4
350 V8
SM465 Muncie 4 speed manual (more like just a 3 spd, but you knew that)
no factory AC (bonus, less is more)

Holley carb (good)
Wyand intake (junk)
Petronix H.E.I. dizzy (good)
Hooker Headers (good)
Summit X Pipe exhaust (ok)
LMC Truck Turbo mufflers (ok)
McGauphys 2" shorter front coil springs (gave me 3 1/2 inch drop, hmmm)
McGauphys 2" taller shackles (gave me 1 inch drop, hmmm)
