Hey all,
I've got two square body Suburbans right now, but they aren't my first ones. Back in 2020, I bought a 1989 V2500 350TBI Suburban with a TH400 sight-unseen from Montana, shipped it to my brother in Oregon, and we road tripped it cross country back to Ohio. I unfortunately had to sell that to my uncle, but I'd love to buy it back someday.
In the mean time, I bought two square body Suburbans from a friend of my aunt in Colorado Springs back in October 2022- a 1989 V2500 350TBI/TH400 and a 1987 1500 4wd with a 700R4 and a 454TBI from a newer truck or Burb that the previous owner swapped in. The deal on both was just too good to pass up. The '87 runs and drives great after I replaced the fuel pump and an injector, and the '89 ran and drove great until about a month ago, but I signed up to see if I can troubleshoot the no-start issue. I'm getting the bug to LS swap the '89!
Look forward to seeing everyone's squares!
