Hey, stumbled across this forum in the endless search and information on lowering c-10s. I have a 78 model that I am working on slowly as I find enough money to buy a piece here and there. I will probably start a build thread and try to catch everyone up.

Anyway, I guess if you want to know more just ask. ;)

Haha, I would need a panorama view of my whole garage to get it now. Let's see if I can get one showing where I started from.

Welcome aboard. I second the satin clear!

If I can drum up the money for a clear coat I might. More than likely it will just look like this for a while. I intended to make it a driver first and start adding stuff but now it's torn apart I keep thinking, "I should do this while I have that apart", and now it's been in pieces for a year. Haha

That trailer was way overkill but I only have that monster and a 5x10 for my mower. At least with the big trailer I could cheat and use the winch on my jeep to load it.

That’s normal. Mines together and I keep taking stuff apart.

I've had that mentality stall a project for a long time, I've also had it stop me doing a project. I would just get it back together and driving. I think that would motivate me later on to do all those other projects knowing I already have an operational vehicle.
