New to the forum but not new to square bodies, I've owned and built several and all of them ended up with a big block, 400t/205, 60/14 bolt combo. This truck is going to be a little different, it is going to be my daughters high school ride. We bought an 85 K30 that is a 350, sm465, 205, d60/d70 with 4:10's, the body isn't terrible but we also bought an 89 C30 with a 454, sm465, 14 bolt gear unknown, body is very nice so we are going to take both of them and make a nice one.
The end product is going to be a 496, hyd roller cam, aluminum heads, sm465, 205, d60/d70, fresh paint and an aluminum flat bed. We are undecided if we are going to leave it a dual wheel or convert it to a single wheel.

There is no doubt it will be sideways in 3rd most of its life!!
I have been buying stock in BFG tire company for a long time for that reason. Haha
I need to figure out how to post pictures and I will post some of both trucks before we start to disassembly and we will go from there.
