New guy from Florida

My name is Dustin, I just signed up here after finding the site through a Google search about lift springs. I'm from north central Florida. I have a frankenstein Chevy, '66 cab (I hope that doesnt disqualify me from the site, lol) sitting on a complete '77 frame and running gear, with the '77 step side short bed. It is now under going a partial restoration, partial modification. I bought the truck from a guy that had it on 44" bogger with 12" lift springs. I'm bringing it back down to earth with 6" springs and 35 or 37" tires. The truck didnt have an engine, so I'm building a 350 that I plan on putting TBI onto. I've already learned a bunch of info on springs from here, so I look forward to being about to contribute as well as learn more. I co-own/manage an auto repair shop and spend my time off fishing or working on my truck.

Welcome i just moved from florida not to long ago i grew up in LAkeland and then moved to Winter Garden near Orlando and now live in Arkansas. We actually have a somebody else with a Square frame and older cab setup your good to go man pics are always welcome and encouraged no matter what it looks like

Here's a few pics. I've already stripped the interior out, pressure washed the exterior (once, needs another round) and removed the bed. Next up is hanging the front springs when they arrive and then onto the replacing the rusty body panels. This tropical storm prevented me from working on it today, been raining steady all day. But we sure need the water, so we are not complaining around here.

You're not the first here with a 60' body on a Squarebody frame. Trying to think of his ID. He's got a square too, but the 60's is a 4x4 too. You won't get banned for not have a squarebody, but it's a good thing you posted pics !!! We are pic ****** here. As C4 suggested, we'd like to see you start a Under Construction thread. Welcome and thanks for letting us know how you found us.
