Hey all. Proud GM vehicle only owner here. I found this forum trying to diagnose an annoying blower motor and wiper problem on my truck. It looks like a very helpful site so ill stick around!
I have a 1979 Chevy K30 3+3 crew cab with the "Big Dooley" option. 4 speed manual with the 350 V8. It has a custom made rear dumping flat bed. The cab is from a 1986 since the original rusted out and was replaced right after I was born. The guy who did the swap for my father left many small problems and a did quite a few shortcuts, however this has been a great work truck for hauling gravel, wood, large rock, etc. When I grew up with it, it was always driven hard and put away wet and it's starting to show.
Now being older, I want to put a lot of work into it (at the same time as my 1969 GTO Judge) and see how many more years of reliability I can get out of it.
Ill get a photo of it tomorrow in the daylight.
Thanks!
Kyle
