Hey! My names Tyson, I recently purchased a 1985 GMC Sierra Classic with a 5.3 LS Swap. This is my second Squarebody truck I have owned (The first being a 1985 Chevy K20) and I felt the need to join here because I plan on keeping this truck for longer than 3 months. It needs some work, so follow along for my journey I guess!

Welcome! Saw your post about locking hubs.
Let’s see some more of that truck!
Especially the LS swap. And don’t let some of these old schoolers get to you about the LS thing.
It’s “cold” here right now. The ole 454 needs a couple min with the choke on and babied all the way out to the highway. The old 5.3 in the kids clapped out commuter doesn’t. You’ll like it in the winter for sure and at the gas pump IMO. Especially since you’ve alluded it’s a daily driver.

Yea, I bought it with the swap in hopes that it was done professionally. So far it does fine.
