This is what I did then found out I used the wrong bezel. . . headlight and wiper switch were all wrong. Ended up modifying my OEM which I didn't want to do but time was critical.

@colonel mustard Im not a fan of retro fitting new gauges in old real estate but damn they look good!! They do look bright AF too

Thank u sir. I’m also not a fan of it. I wanted to try and keep it factory looking. A bit of a resto-mod. I’m happy with how it turned out.

god dang...nice. I had the headlight wiper switch problem also...sucked. is that hydro dipped?

Great looking set up.

@MikeB you have the correct/easy dash to add gauges to. I had an '80 3+3 with idiot lights. With a little modification the the idiot light openings in the cluster backing and the back of the bezel, I added Auto Meter 2 1/16" gauges to the light pods in the cluster backing. It looked very similar to the VDO's shown below.

You're an artist, man! I may look into doing that someday. Already have 2 of the gauges!

Do you have pics of how you mounted them?
Are this the 3” gauges for speedo n tach?
