I’ve had my '86 C10 for almost 3 years now I got it when I was 15 and I’m 18 now I’m a young guy but I’ve done a lot to this old truck. Originally came with 305/700r4 trans and I recently put in a 290hp GM goodwrench crate 350 and a rebuilt 700r4 trans, it’s got a Detroit locker in the back with stock gears so probably 2:73 or something like that. Long tube headers Edelbrock performer intake, Edelbrock AVS2 carb and it’s my daily driver. I re did the whole A/C system and It gets about 6 mpg and I might even be nice giving it that much but I love it. Everything on this truck I’ve touched or upgraded somehow someway. Only thing this truck has ever gone to a shop for was for tires, everything else I did in the garage
