Hey guys,
Glad i found this forum, what a great tool. This is the 3rd K5 I have owned and i love more every day. I have a 1991 with a 14 ff in the rear and dana 44 up front. Lockrite locker in front with a detroit out back. I have 6 inch lift with a reverse flip out back and new alcan springs up front. Turbo 400 to get it going with a 5.7 under the hood.

To be completly honest i have never joined a forum so i said what the hell, I like what ideas are out there plus i would like to share some of mine. This weekend i just plasti-dipped my front and rear bumpers and they turned out great.

Now its time for some winter camping.

Just wanted to say thank you for the compliments. Ok since i am a newbie i only have just a few questions, where is the best place to ask.

The reason for such a dumb question is yes i used to be a yota guy and i did try to join IH8mud which is a place for FJ crowd, well needless to say some of those guys are the Ill have my cheses and wine while i pull my 20k trailer to the back country. So real quick story we are up in the gorgeous rocky mtns on a 3-4 trail i am trying to get up a small hill and the fj80 has a hell of a time until i put it in for low and i was getting 11 mpg highway or not .

This is when i decided to go back to the K5. Guys that dont need to pull a expedition trailer and guys that can drink pbr,s and grab a stick throw a dog on it and wala supper. Ok i ranted allot sorry abou that but just wanted to give you a little history.
