Hey All, I built a 68 Bronco 8 - 10 years ago but didn't have enough time for it so I ended up selling it 4 years ago. I attached a couple photos. Anyway, I'm looking to get more use out of the Blazer, I'm hoping it'll become my daily driver. I've only had it a week but I'm just about ready to start tearing into it. She's a rust free rig so the paint should be easier than the Bronco

Hey man, welcome to the site. I like both rides BUT there's room a plenty in the K5. I love those old Broncos, Scouts and first gen K5's too but there is not as much room in those as there is in the Square. Thanks for the pics.

Welcome. I had an early bronco also - I think it was a '76 - anyway had dual tanks, no roof and lifted on 33's. Great truck, but too small for me and my better 1/2 to go into the mountains with a couple of Mtn bikes, camping gear etc. That is what first got me into chevys - I started looking at contemporary car reviews between the bronco, scout, jeep and blazer ( around 1972 ). Every review said the blazer was miles ahead of the others in comfort, power and style. The only downside was size ( width ), but that is only if you are planning to go rock crawling or on mountain goat trails. Needless to say I bought a blazer and sold the bronco ( wish I kept that looking at prices now. It was rust free and I sold it to a kid down the block for $2,500 - ho hum ...). Of course now with a family we have ( needed ) a 4x4 sub.....

Man if that is pretty rust free, and the body is straight, that is a find. I always wanted one myself….. Welcome from central Wa.
