So what all goes into pulling off the valve cover also all other cylinders tessted above 150 psi some at 170

Simply remove the bolts holding down the valve cover. No need to drain the oil. Heck, you can run the engine with them off.

Cool so extra questions I put in a radio now my dash lights and running lights don't work what did I do?

Make sure the fuses are good.

If it is blowing them that is most likely a short causing that.

Any common shorts I matched up wiring diagrams so I shouldn't have a shorto

Could be a short to ground instead of a connection issue, like a wire that got pinched when you were pushing stuff back in the dash. Look for that too. Also double check your constand 12v source if there wasn't one there from the factory.
