Need better fuel mileage

I was gettin caught back up (lotta pages!) and I see the TOMFOOLERY in this here thread is progressing nicely. Please, by all means, carry on.
See, I revisited after I thought up something constructive to add for Console Boy and the Gas Mileage Kid.

How has the the seemingly innate desire to add LEDs to the dash lighting been so wholly overlooked?

It is true, if you had what I had in one of my old trucks, Called a Motor Minder Vac gauge by Stewart Warner is what I had... If you drive by that and and realized how those jack rabbit starts actually affect your mpg, you become more self conscious of your driving habits and they do change. Mine was bigger, I think a 2.5 inch maybe a 3 inch.

Yep, SW was at one time "top a the line", then it went down the crapper, sad indeed...

I’ve posted my old SW tach and it works it just sucks it only goes to 5k or I’d be using it.
