Do you have an inside or outside hood release?

If outside, you will be fine with the outer bolt on mounts and the center mount.

If inside, someone will have to chime in as to whether it will work or not.

I did it years ago on a 77, as I recall I had to make some small modifications to the center mount and grille make it work with the inside hood release.

The thing i see is the 73 hood hook is forward and mine is sideways. Is that latch part attached to the center support? Would it be just easier to swap the whole rad support?

If you want to go with an outside hood release to use with the 1973-74 grille, all you have to swap is the top part, not the whole rad. support.

Please let me know if you do away with your latch parts. I've been looking for those (with inside hood release) for a while.

The parts I'm looking for are '77-'80 only. It's apparently not a common setup anymore.
