I just got my fusion back for $1200. I bought it in 2012. It had right on 60k miles at that time. I drove it too 195k miles and other than a recall for a gas tank issue, the only thing I have had to replace were the front wheel bearings. Obviously not counting tires and brake pads. My brothers girlfriend needed a car in the worst way so I sold it too her awhile back. Now that they have a kid she wanted a crossover so she got an 2011 equinox and I got this back. Of course she hit a deer with it but other than that it seems ok yet. Has 219k miles now. I always liked this car for cruising to work. Hopefully it has a lot of life left in it. And yes I know it looks like **** and needs a bath big time. The roads in Minnesota are a mess currently.

Just wanted to add also that generally speaking I am a gm guy. But ford does have some good stuff out there. These fusions are super reliable and get ok gas mileage. This one is the 2.5 four banger and has decent acceleration and can get 30mpg on long drives. If your ever in the market for a used car, dont be scared of these ford cars.

I too, own a (ford). '99 crown Victoria but, I don't particularly like driving it. Everyone thinks you're a cop so its damn near impossible to do the speed limit, so I let the wife drive it when she wants too. I'd rather just let ol blue suck down some fuel...

I am not a car guy at all to be honest. I like SUVs and pickups. I love driving my yukon and of course my 87. But I do like having a car also for the commute to work. Before I bought my camper i was putting on a 1000 miles a week on my vehicles. So that's the only reason I ever had a car in the first place.
