@Mr Clean I was thinking about you today mounted some tires up on the little bit that's left of the Harbor freight machine all thats original is the upright post and wheel plate. Which is why I said save your money and just make one.. Here's a video of a good manual machine which is why I was so disappointed with the HF machine.I learned on one of these machines, they work.I did pickup an old coats manual machine similiar to this and when I'm being lazy and doing steel rims this is the bar I use and a similiar bead breaker that I made. Funny the coats bar always works, first try, so does the bead breaker. Which is why I was thinking of you. What did did you do for a bead breaker? You want a pic of mine and details for making one or do you have it covered?. P.S. anyone that wants to try to copy my coats bar you are welcome to try. Ask any questions you need. This guy's slow and the videos long but even look how much better the coats bar dismounts it actually has 2 arms at the dismount end so the bead doesn't slip back down, and the mount end once it's hooked,it's hooked, just pull the lever around. No fighting with it,no popping off,no prying.
