mini square clutch issue (87 S10)

its just frustrating more than anything. this thing is SUPER low mileage. it sat for a while. the owner is not the brightest bulb, and hes already a customer for other reasons. i didnt even want to do it but business is business, so the boss took the job. well figure it out. no worries.


oh and dude, dont worry. i didnt take anything that was said like your were being *******. your not sure what was done and i dont remember if i specified in the original. so no worries.

finally got it figured out. and its a STUPID issue. something that no one even thought about. the original bolts for the pressure plate were too long for the replacement flywheel and pressure plate. it left it loose and just moving on the springs. hence no clutch. but it drives like a champ now and all is well with the world.

thanks for the insights on this issue and ill be back with more questions when i start tearing out the 465 in my GMC.

me either. threw me for a loop. but we got it going and it runs like a champ.
