I have a 1976 Cheyenne short bed, 350 CID, auto. It has manual brakes. What I want to know is will a master cylinder from a power brake system for the same year work? I have one brand new in the box. Having a hard time finding one local that isn't special order. I'm thinking it would work using my existing rod. Am I wrong? And what other master cylinders would work on this? Thanks for any info. Trying to get it ready to drive this weekend.
