Finishing up a complete rebuild of a 79 C10. Installed new booster, master cylinder, lines, etc. The reservoir keeps leaking from the lid at the back and running down the booster and onto the frame. Even though the lid and gasket were new, I've replaced them and still the same thing. Any suggestions?

Lay a straightedge across the top of master cylinder.Ive had then where they would have ineven casting.I have bent the clamp a bit to pull lid down tighter onto it to better seal.I have also had to return for another master cylinder
