I've used it in both oil and gas... can't really say it made a diff in either. Better off using B12 in the gas and stp high mileage in the oil. These have given me the best off the shelf results over the years.

B12 rocks! Just don't spill it!

Also works as an amazing parts cleaner in a pinch

Yup they sell it by the gallon as a parts cleaner, or at least they used to.

Used too. I bought it hoping it was and was extremely disappointed

Never did much with the MMO although it also makes for a good cutting oil for tapping and drilling.

When my older BIL moved, he gave me a thirty gallon drum of naptha. He used it in his diesel trucks every tank. I guess it is cheaper than Power Service or any other diesel cold weather additive and may raise the cetane number a small bit. However, when I got it home without thinking much about it I took it off the trailer and left it sitting outside for about half a year, when I thought about it I figured I'd put some in my tractor fuel in the fall. The first can I pumped out was milky, it was full of water... what a waste. I tried starting brush pile fires with it but it was too wet for even that. Now I have no idea what I'm going to do with it.

I used a few ounces in my outboard engine and after ward it developed a loud intermittent knock or mis-fire. The plugs looked perfectly fine but I put new ones in anyway. Still does it.

MMO in the oil every winter when the temps fall below 10 or 15 degrees, cuts the viscosity down and improves the flow ( for cold starts ). I'm sure it burns-off over time when used in the crankcase.
