I have an '85 C20 that I'm about ready to order a lowering kit for. I have never lowered a vehicle before and bashfully admit that I'm more confused by all the options I'm reading about than anything. My desire is a 4/6 drop with 20x9 wheels without a c-notch or rubbing in the wheel wells. Can anyone recommend the kit to go with please?

I heard that UMI Performance is coming out with a squarebody line that sounds right up your alley.

My buddy ran this on Hot Rod Power Tour and is his daily driver. Should be a sweet kit.

Not C10 but I run umi lowering springs on my 4 gen Z28 with Koni adjustables.. Best stance and ride the car has ever had. I've used eibach, Tokico, and KYB combinations. They're not even close.

@umi_ramey are you a rep for the company?

Hi Rory.

Thanks for running the UMI Koni combo. We do have good success with it.

I'm in engineering at UMI but also respect forum rules by not posting links and such. We are new to the square game but have applied all our tricks to the Nate truck and it's working awesome.

I had the same truck in college and really miss it.

Looks for much more from us here soon.

Been checking your site for a few weeks now. I saw an Instagram post but no details...

Can you give us any basics? Leafs or arms in back?

The initial Stage 2 kit consists of engineered front springs, shocks sway bar and drop spindles. Rear is a Pro-Tour style adjustable rear bar, shocks, and flip kit.

We have another truck in the works and a chassis on the surface plate for a-arms and other pieces. Four link is in the works but will be later.

Kinda lost? I agree.
Trucks get lifted, cars get lowered...

Just busting your balls, trucks that are tastefully lowered can be kind of cool sometimes. I just had to make the joke.

Right now nothing on deck for C30. We try to do a platform a year so you never know...

From what I've seen, I definitely like your products over others.
I'll be doing more suspension work on my Z when I have a break from my k5 build. It should be going off to paint next month.

I just went looking thru their web site and don't see any listing for square body trucks, only S10's. Is there a hidden back door or am I blind this morning?
