Yes the cam may make a difference. Notice I said "may"... not 'will'. If your compression is sadly anemic, the difference in cam events will not make much difference at all.have you thought of a cam i am looking into one for my truck granted my truck is new but a cam can do a lot and you don't have to go extreme mild cams make some power too from what I have been reading and what year is the motor
