Thanks

Hi DanMcG, I am getting ready to paint my 78 Scottsdale white. I love the way yours looks! Can you tell me ...did you paint that and if so where did you get the paint? I've never painted before and want to try it. Just unsure about the details. I also plan on going to black insides like door panels and dash cover. Its amazing when it contrasts with the white. Again, great looking paint!!

Yeah I'm painting it myself, first time for me too, well in the last 40 years anyways.
The paint I'm using is a single stage Automotive Arts, Motocryl. It's very well priced and covers great. I get it from Chads Paint Supply in New Troy Mi. Free shipping is a plus too!!
I learned about him over on the Southern Polyurethanes Forum, which is a great place to be to learn anything paint related.

I downloaded that....for reference if that's ok with you Loren. I love the aluminum accents in this truck. Yours looks amazing! I am looking for a guy to do my upholstery now. I have a few designs in my head for the seat but need it to be comfortable yet durable. My Labrador wont let me touch her nails very often!

I just ordered seat upholstery from Raybuck for my white crew cab. Better pricing and more options than LMC. You can order fabric swatches from Raybuck.

I ended up doing charcoal vinyl on sides and charcoal tweed on seating areas. Unlike LMC, Raybuck has lots of color options and combinations. Both get their products from seatz in Los Angeles.

And of course I am adding seat heaters while I'm at it. Phoenix dips down into the 70's during winter and I need to stay warm.

Before and after on mine. Seats came out of a 2000 Suburban.
Looks great! Are those repro door panels? Where did you get them from, brand?
