Looking for no bs, tested, quality vacuum caps..

Maybe these? Says high quality rubber. Maybe put some Vaseline on them to keep them soft and not Crack? They have other types too.

Those ones look just like the rest of em lol. I did an internet search already, and they all looked like the same thing. Was checking to see if anyone here knew of a quality set. The Vaseline may help, but I think it's the extreme cold and heat fluctuations.

sorry but as cheap as a kit is, keep it in the vehicle and roll. Every time you pop the hood, take a minute to check for vacuum leaks with starter fluid.

Ethanol in the fuel is probably not helping either.

Put ball bearing in cap then install. No fumes to rubber parts.

Always used rubber hose with a screw plugged in the end.Never had anyone be concerned over it.

yeh thought about that after I posted. If you've got 2 the same size and don't want to run plugs, run a hose from one to the other.

You may not go able to do that if they are different vacuum signals.

If one is ported and the other is manifold - or vice versa - you can create problems by sucking raw gas into the baseplate of the carb without controlling the mixture.

I try to keep my farming genes out of my builds lol. No bailing wire, no scotch locks or wire nuts either lol.

I just want something to last, I don't want to carry around vacuum caps or worry about having vacuum leaks and having to pull the air cleaner lid off. There's a lot of checks we should be doing, vacuum caps being crap shouldn't have to be one of them lol

I'm not knocking it, because I know it works, and I definitely wouldn't talk crap to anyone about it because I've done it too lol. Farmers like to use bolts though haha

I've had good luck with gates stuff, I might even source some fuel line.
