I've been doing a little research to get my choke right. I can't tell you the right place to tie into but can give a little advice. Mine has factory wiring tied into an oil pressure switch. I just jumpered across the terminals for now but the oil pressure switch is a good idea. With the switch your choke doesn't start heating up until the engine starts. If you're having problems getting it started your choke stays on. With a straight ignition power wire it starts turning off as soon as you turn on the key.
