Im looking for a cam that would deliver the best power to my sbc 350 1st gen w stock heads. Im looking at an edelbrock rolling thunder series roller cam and converting it to a roller engine since im building it to handle more power as it will be a 383 soon. Also debating a edelbrock performer plus but it is also a flat tappet but its rpm range seems more reasonable for a truck but ive heard really good things about a roller cam. I really need input plz. and this is a 76 k10 5.7 350 4 bolt main and all i have done to it is edelbrock 1405 carb, dual plane edelbrock high rise, and edelbrock performer fuel pump.

Hmm, I think more information would be good. What compression are you thinking of running? And what kind of transmission? And would you change your torque converter if auto? What gearing will you run? And most important how do you plan to use it? I think a roller cam would be worth while if you can swing it. And I kinda wonder if you'd benefit more from better heads than a stroker kit.
And I highly suggest getting a cam recommendation from a few companies. Pretty much every big company will give you recommendations. Personally I lean to lunati but comp cams seem to be the popular brand. Here's a few links for cam recommendations

Gotta watch your cam choice due to your minimal compression ratio. And intake design. Also if your gonna rebuild it why put a new cam in it now? If you match your cam to the current set up it surely won't work with the new set up and if you over cam the current set up it will end up being a turd.

If you're going to build an engine, just go get a roller block, way cheaper than retrofitting.
