LongBed w/ Tailgate $200 ???

Since I am going to be consolidating projects, I shouldn't need this bed since the current 84C20 DD is one that will go when the 454/400 is put in the 88 Burb. This bed was for that 84C20 and I won't need it now. The other trucks have workable beds I think. Just curious if this one is worth $200 with the tailgate. Need some opinions. I'm thinking if I can't get $200 out of it, I'd be better off keeping it. Other than a couple spots of rust behind the wheel wells, and the oops on the left tail light, its pretty much perfect in and out.

i live in the rust belt so that would be a steal, they ask 100 to 150 around here just for a tail gate, don't know if they actualy sell for that but thats what they list them for

I would list it for $400. It's in much better shape than anything I've ever seen around here for $200. Then you can let them talk you down to around $300.

I just bought a bed in Similar condition to yours for $150. But I talked the guy down alot. It has an absolute rust free bed pan. So I think that $200 is a great offer for yours. But list it for $350 obo and let them talk u down. But try to get $300 out of it.

I took it to $300, we'll see what happens. The other thing that might either help or hurt and I need to update the listing, is its only got a driver side gas filler door. I was going to cut parts off my 84C20 bed to fix the rust and dent, and add the passenger side filler door. My 84C20 bed is in a bit of rough shape, but the areas this bed needs help, mine is perfect, so I was going to cut and spot weld in the pieces for a perfect bed.

I was gonna say, you can be that far if you're in TX, but I guess it all depends on where Central TX is. I make it to Dallas/Ft Worth in 2 1/2 hours at 75-80 mph. (uhhhh OK, and sometimes 90-100). Supposed to be a 3hr drive doing the speed limit.

Another good looking bed for $200. But he doesn't show much of it, not sure if tailgate is included.

Not a bad price but it does have a little bit of rust on it. I bought mine for $200 and it had it's share of dents and dings like yours has but mine was 100% rust free which IMO makes a huge difference. With that said, I'm sure you could find someone to give you $200 for it if you were to post it up on CL.

Dents and Dings??? The pics show all the bad. The 2 spots of rust, and the one dent. The tailgate is perfect other than the scuff on the insert. I have it listed for $300, and have 2 people wanting to see it tonight. That must mean my competition sold his. I'm sure they'll work me down some.
