Thanks, looks like the don't have fenders in stock anymore. Id really like to come get some out of a rust free state but that cost of the trip is prohibitive

For anybody else interested it appears jcwhitney carries them. A bit more pricey than parts geek, but they do have them.

Jcwhitney also has free shipping on the fenders, after looking closer they are not action crash but they are CAPA certified. 304$ for the set before discount. 10% off right now. Rock auto also carries a good deal of CAPA certified parts. Gotta be careful with them because if it comes from 2 warehouses you pay double the freight cost. Just wanted to give everybody some information. Hope it helps

Okay so LMC sucks for body panels... I would've expected as much. Probably the same cheapo stuff that I can get locally.

What I would like to know is how is LMC for all the little itty-bitty pieces and hard to find stuff? I'm thinking about ordering seat covers, dash pads, seals and body hardware

Dash pads suck and just like about any other vendor, they all carry the cheep Chinese knock off parts. Price, shipping cost and customer support is what I base my decision on. None of that stuff compares to OEM. I will say I have gotten good customer support from LMC. I also use them when my order goes over the 1000.00 marks because of free shipping. My 1000.00 plus orders include items that are large oversize, freight shipped and heavy.

I just had a box of goodies dropped off from here. 2 repair panels, spot weld drill bit, upper rad hose, thermostat, gasket, couple other things I can't remember. Probably be ordering some door and window seals from here as well soon.

Might want to look at rock auto for seals as well. Prices are pretty reasonable. Quick shipping too!

I'm about to do the same, just changed out to power windows and noticed window seals were shot. I've had really good luck with lmc. Most orders show up on time or early, prices are reasonable and parts fit reasonably well. I recently purchased door panels, molded dash, and all the billet replacements for the interior as well as carpet below door panels. Everything fit great. The molded dash cover doesn't cover perfect but is a huge improvement over the cracked dash pad.

i just rebuilt an entire cab of my 87 and all the sheet metal was from lmc. floorpans, inner and outer rockers, and cab corners all needed some massaging to fit right. cab corners were the worst though. Way too wide on the door jamb, took a couple hours to cut and bend to make a clean jamb gap. To top it all off, my cab is now 30% taiwan steel.

hard to expect perfection from an aftermarket replacement panel IMO

I have been working one of the OER dashes. Definitely not a factory piece.

Looks good. The black is a nice contrast with the orange.
