Never heard of that being done but I guess it's possible. Only snag is to get it exactly right you would need a hydroboost pedal to compare to... and if you have that you wouldn't need the modded one.

Here's a pic showing the two, the hb is the one with the rubber.

You must be registered for see images attach

It doesnt have to be exactly perfect does it? It would just change the starting angle of when you would push on the brake either further or closer to the firewall correct? However if you would be able to get me a measurement from the center of the bolt hole to the center of the hb attachment im sure I could get it pretty damn close

The hb pedal is already in the truck and it's damn near impossible to get an accurate measurement with it buried up under the dash. The vac pedal is 3.5" on center (pin to pivot) so looking at the pic I would guess the hb is an inch less. Maybe @CSFJ could measure his, he might have a hb setup because my vac pedal is stamped 347460. If his measures something like 2.5" it has to be a hb pedal assembly.

Edit: Wait a minute, I just realized that's a manual trans setup CSFJ has so we might be comparing apples to oranges with the part numbers.

Lol. Mine's definitely out of a hb truck. I helped with the disassembly. I can get some measurements tonight when I get home from work.

ok. The measurement from the center line of the pivot pin to the center line of the hydro boost brake stud is 2 3/4 inches.

Hey for everyone's record. The nut on a hydro boost unit is 1 7/8" :) just lucked out with the tool box at the fire house. Makes a cake walk of things with newer brackets that don't recess like the 80s bracket.
