New to the group here. have a question about the rear leaf springs on my 86 sierra 1500 2w. Sitting on the ground unloaded the rear shackle is all the way back and maxed out. what is the correct leaf spring length for my truck?

There are 2 different leaf sping lengths, 52in and 56in. Trucks with 52in leafs have the shackle hanger mounted just in front of the rear cross member and trucks with 56in leafs the shackle hanger mount is mounted just to the rear of the rear cross member. You will see holes in the frame to confirm this.

thank you I'll look in a bit I knew there were 2 different lengths but did not know the visual difference. Right now I think they measure 54" eye to eye
