Thought I'd posted this build before, but guess I had not!
Bought an "Unloved" 1973 K10 in 2007 ish..
Originally bought for my son, but he got into Jeeps, so I took it back over.
Its a California, one family owned, K10, Cheyenne(I think), 350/350/NP205 AC, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Dana 44 front, 12 bolt rear Truck...
Had a 4" lift on 33s... paid $500 for it not running.. some rust on hood, etc.
Showed 36,000 miles, but probably went around at least once..

Replaced the hood, front fenders, and front wheel arches..

Gave her a "Rustoleum" paint job, and some Dick Cepek wheels and 35" tires

Over the next few years I added a Free Callen Camper shell... from a Ford.. so its about 4" too long, but cant beat the price... right?

And used the hell out of it, camping in the back country, like Death Valley, Mammoth etc.

Life changed and I let her sit for 5+ years, but now I'm back on the restoration...

I have a vision to improve her abilities, and make her strong.
So far, I have bought/fitted:
Holley TBI Fuel Injection, because the Quadrajet was always a pain...

Holley Dizzy and sparky box.

Aftermarket belt drive system to get the Alternator up high.

Edelbrock Intake, Alloy valve covers, SS long tube headers...

Twin sticked the NP205, rebuilt front and rear driveshafts.

Rear 12 bolt already had a LSD, but added a strong cover.

Front Dana 44 I put a Yukon cast iron cover on.
